I dont know about you, but I dont put passengers behind the rear wheels like the gas tank is. In fact, when I have a passenger (in the seat) handeling is more predictable. It feels like I dont need to preload as much before a sharp left as I normally would driving solo.
And drag racing isnt all people use their cars for. I can feel a difference in handeling when the tank is full, Just like if you added 80 lbs in front of your front wheels you would notice a difference. Back to the topic;
80 lbs from the front wheels is the A/C, power steering, and emissions removed from a car. No difference in "handeling" [sic]. |
What can I say? Maybe your not sensitive enough of a driver to feel.
Maybe you spend most of your time driving in a strait line. Which is fine, but there is no reason why you shouldnt feel a difference with a passenger or a full tank of gas in a 2700 lb car. |
cmoe on guys, stick to the topic or leave it to PMs
