preasure plate question

are there any diference in the s4/s5 preasure plates ?



here is the thing i changed the clutch on my n/a s/4

i had a preasure plate that i used before in a 13b not sure what series however i used it with a t2 transmission (small na flywheel )

small disc and big splines ,

well i order an racing beat 6 puck disc for s4 na ,put the damm thing togetter.



gess what it wont turn over!



not even from the main pulley the engine will not turn wtf !!!

yes sir, the clutch seems to engage. bout wont turn

I dont understand what your setup is. S4 N/a flywheel and clutch with TII trans?

yeah i dunno.



84-92 NON turbo is all the same



86-88 turbo is the 245?mm



89-09 turbo is 235mm



you can use the 245mm pressure plate/flywheel on with the late 235mm disc, but not the other way around.

the setup is like this s4 n/a flywheel , disc and transmission , im not sure what year preasure plate is , bout i used the pp before with this setup



s4 flywheel , t2 trans . s4 disc big splines for t2 trans



question will the t2 pp bolt on to the s4 na flywheel?





i think it migth be a t2 pp im taking it a part monday

hmm i'd be surprised if the t2 PP went on the NA flywheel, although i cant say ive ever checked?

A T2 PP will not bolt to a NA flywheel. Also the NA flywheel is smaller in diameter than a T2; the starter would not engage a NA flywheel with a T2 tranny.
