They are bad for cold solder joints.. That might be why..



Still recommend you change fluid though if you don't know when the last time it was done.

ATF = hydraulic fluid, colin, thats why you have no problems.

It was changed about two years ago when I swapped the motor out. so it should be fine, I have to find the damn computer first! Knowing my luck it is righ above the alarm brain, which means dash removal time!!!!!!!

i got to it easy when i pulled my p/s out.



seriously its a small grayish box, not all that big at all, directly to the left and a tad above your clutch pedal, look around its the only like ecu there.

Hmm may not be bad then. Ill check it this weekend, hope full one out of an S5 will work.

s5 p/s comp. wont work.



s5 is speed based s4 is something else based.

I know s4's are supposed to by RPM based or some ****, but mine is speed based.
