has anyone ever messed with the wires that come out of the pump, there's a valve that's conected to the pump which the steering computer is supposta operate but i killed the computer to stop that beeping noise. there's about 5 or 6 wires coming out of it. I figured if anyone can give me any pointeres it would help me out befor i work blindly on it not knowing what i'm doing.

 

My guess would be changes the valving to change the pressure at various speeds.



I have an 88' though and it doesn't have that. So I may be way off.



You might swap it for an older 7 that doesn't have these wires.
