Hi guys,

I changed the power steering pressure lines this weekend because one of the hoses was leaking from the top.

After test driving it last night, I still can see oil leaking but this time it looks like it's coming from the boot.

Maybe this was another leak that I just didn't notice before because of the leak from the hose?

Is there anything under the boot that needs to be checked or is it possible that I screwed the wrong lines to wrong openning( bottom side ) because they're the same size openning but 2 different size lines.

Help please.

I ended up taking out the pressure line that I suspected leaking and found one of the problems. The O-ring slid off the grove during the installation and it was partly shredded when I pulled it out. I guess I didn't notice that if had fallen out of place when I was screwing it back in.

The second leak was coming from the steering rack boot ( driver side ). After checking it, I figured that there's probably a hole somewhere on the bottom side of the boot, so I rotated it just so the bottom side sets on top and i guess it worked for now. It stopped the leaking. It's just temporary until I get the new part in next week. While I'm at it, I'll just change both the left and the right boot.
