My step-mom and dad recently purchased a very nice '88 vert. The only major problem I can find is a leak underneath, looks like it's coming from the power steering line where it meets the rack.

Is there a copper washer or something here that could cause leaking?

Also, what's the best way to access this? The front subframe is right under the rack, and something else is above it, it looks like a tight spot. Only way I could think of was to actually unbolt the rack and tie rod ends to scoot the rack over a bit to get out of the way of the front subframe.

might be easiest to unbolt the rack and move it out of the way?
