hey guys i'm in of some advise,

i took my 88 se to the dealer on wendsday to have it worked on thursday. it drove like a beauty, it felt like she was proforming the best she's done in a long time. and then thursday when i get home from school i have a message from the guy at mazda saying that "my car smokes so much that he can't keep it in the garage long enough to work on without killing all 18 mechanics" when i go over there to talk to him he tell me he thinks my engine's shot...but just wendsday morning and all afternoon it was behaving like a new car. we went out to the lot to start the car and it was smoking like crazy there was even smoke comming up the shifter!!! i'm sooo pissed now i don't know what to do! i think that the people there were messing around with my car after i droped it off. but i don't know what to do!!! someone please help me out!!!

thanks guys

andy

You didn't happen to make note of the milage did you? You can argue with them, but keep it civil, quite honestly there is nothing you can really do.

Get some legal help. Obviously the engine was in good working order before you took it there.

If they damaged your engine. they will have to replace it.

I took Just brakes to court 2 years after they did 1300 dollard worth of brake work to my car

i had to go back 7 times. and was charged 100-200 dollars each time i went back to get something worked on.

They never replaced anything in the first place. These guys at mazda prolly dont know how to work on your rotary engine and fucked it up. Like i said. Get legal advice

I got a grand total of 2900$ back in the form of a check from the head CEO of Just Brakes.

it paid for my engine rebuilt and mods...

yeah i think they are trying to screw you over man.Thats why i wont take my car to any mechanic, i rather learn how to do it myself and work on my own car. So far its working for me. Like he said before seek legal action first. If it was me i would probably loose it and kill all 18 mechanics but dont do what i would do. try the right way first iight man.

Good luck and sorry to hear what happened its a terrible thing

when I took my TII in to get the seat belts fixed I never left the building ever... I always knew when they were running it to.. loud little rotary

atleast with my microtech I could keep another map in my hand controller that has a soft rev limit of like 3k so they couldn't play even if they wanted to
