Nice. Wouldn't taking off the fan give you much more room though? Certainly gave me much better leverage... So what's the plan for the TII ?

i tried to take the fan off the two nuts holding it didn't want to come off. i'll take them off this weekend. wasn't really concerned with it all that much at the time. i'm gonna rebuild the engine myself and port it. gonna put bigger secondaries and a custom fmic. might even go with a different turbo setup. not 100% sure yet. first thing is get the engine out and take it apart and go from there. see how many new housings i need

I think you just have to have some results from a few races to get the discount. I MAY be starting a new job soon. So if that's the case then I'll only be able to work on my car during the weekend, as opposed to every day.

Right now I'm having some weird problem with my T-78. It's making full boost at about 5000-5500 instead of 4000-4500. I think it may be my wastegate. I'm probably going to get a Garrett T-76 for a future 20B, but I thought about trying it out on my motor. I think it wouldn't spool up until 10K. h34r:

40psi of boost at 10,000 rpm isn't that bad

AHHH MY EYES! NEKKID 13B ENGINE! AHHHHHHH!

Wish I could put a turbo in. Heck wish I could just rebuild the engine but money is tight right now. Bleh!

Almost wish I was in the New Jersey/New York so I could bother the living hell out of the both of you live and in person. Plus pick up all sorts of nifty tidbits and the like.

the best way to learn is to take the car apart.... my first rx7 was a 88 SE with 200k miles that i bought for $200. had a stuck apex seal. got it unstuck and drove around my block @ 5 MPH h34r: afterwards pulled the engine out. i learned a ton doing that just can't wait to have running cars again
