I'm not sure Baldy.. I'm in the same boat. I'm going to just remove them completely and if I don't like it, I'll get them tack welded or pin them in somehow.

 

I'm guessing I'll get them out, then not be able to remove them. If I take them somewhere to get welded, where on the piece should they weld it? Or should they figure it out by looking at it? (I don't like relying on anyone else's guesswork)
