Pineapple Racing Sleeves?

As for function, they're great. The idea makes sense and they work. Its this whole thing about them coming loose that gets people nervous. We talked before about securing them with a pin or something from the end of the sleeve. I might do that for insurance after hearing this story about Kahren.

you really gotta see the pics of his sleeves after the failure, they're impressive.

There is a pin in the FAQ section that shows the failure with the sleeves from another engine builder you can check out. I don't think he used any adhesive or anything to secure them though. You don't need to send them with your shortblock to a shop. If you take your intake manifolds off, you can pull them right out.

and here i am, the sleeves are a good idea if they are tack welded or were actaulyl really pressed in there, locktite doest belong in such places, i trusted the manufacturere of these and they were pre installed for me. i personally sent these out to Rob and got them back ready to install. there were no further directions given and i wasnt even thinking twice if anythign would come undone. my ports werent functioning right at the time, since i was gonn rip apprat all those intake manifolds and get to the sleeves i though, i might as well order the pineapple sleeves at the same time to get that last bit of power from the engine. oh and they give about 4 hp according to rob, not sure if this is at the wheels or not but thats what he told me.
if u are lookign to get more power, just take the sleeves all out completely, if u calculate the surface area witht the sleeve in and with it out its exactly 50% diffrence so guess what, uwill get pretty much that much more air flowign thru there. yes u do loose the low end, but do u really care in a slow NA anyway, and that top end power will be worth it anyway. if u want low end thik of a diffrent way to alter port opening, the 6 port sleeve is a horrible idea atlest imo.
