enter fifth it's likely your car will decelerate or just stay at the speed you engaged the clutch in 5th at, 5th is overdrive from hell.
i've gone ~140 in my fc but that was on the buzzer well past redline in 4th gear, and not for an extended period.... with stock internals.
if you build your motor to rev to 9k you can hit that speed pretty easily in an fc just using 1-4, don't bother with 5th unless you have enough torque and can actually pull with that gear ratio... either way that gear ratio is not optimal for acceleration at that speed.

yeah auto but i already got a 5speed tranny that me and my boy are going to be droppin in by next month. when i have my spring break from school we are going to do it. It only gonna cost me $150 for the tranny and labour. So please stop hating. I love rx7's so much that the first one that came my way i bout it despite it being auto. actually the first two. But i gave the 88 Se to my bro for graduating HS. Yesterday i got burnt out i went to my old job and this kid bought a 7 off my boy. the only reason why he bought it was cause all my boyz got 7's and he doesnt deserve it he like mustangz. grrrr

Don't do stuff because it's going to "turn some headz from the hondaz and sentra krews." Do it because it'll make a difference in your car's performance. Nearly all modifications are for performance improvement and an upgraded appearance is just a bonus. Anything that is solely meant to enhance a car's appearance is mostly a "ricer" mod.
