To think people spend that much money on these crappy pieces of fiberglass, I can't believe it.

We made battery boxes for relocation at v8archie's when I worked there, had more work and fiberglass put into it than that junk headlight cover... and sold for half the price... even then I thought it was a ripoff... both are junk.

you guys let these people get away with rape giving them that kind of money for trash.

I'm not kidding, look:

http://www.v8archie.com/tray.htm

shesh, go buy some fiberglass and resin, learn a thing or two, and make your own for a fraction of the cost,... then

you guys complain about not having money to spend on your cars, yet you pay insane amounts of dough for junk.

I would agree a headlight duct is a waste of money and overpriced.

But it is was probably a little bit more work to make the mold for the headlight duct

then those raw finish battery boxes.

Sometimes people get away with overpricing crap. Someone was talking about

buying 2-4 gauge wiring at a car audio shop for $4-$5 a foot I think it was?

Meanwhile you shouldnt be paying more then $1 a foot.

yaeh the mold is a bit more work but thats not a procedure that gets done often, you get quite a few parts out of one mold.

also to make a fc headlight cover you have plenty of headlight covers to use for making the mold, the battery tray is an original piece so initially the battery box took more time becasue of the required measurements and mold-from-nothing stage...

shoulda just saved money from a few paychecks and bought a s-afc and some dyno time.
