There is a 89 NA rx7 close to me. He is asking 500 for it. The paint is horrible faded And it dosnt run. He dosnt know why, but he says it wants to start but wont. Here are some pics of it. Give me some opinions. I want to get into rotarys but it must be a turbo. So i would want to convert this to a turbo, is this possible at all??? I dont like the wing either!

Offer him $200.00 or $300.00 for it. Apparantly it's useless to him.

Were the 89-92 base models still 4 lug cars?

Looks like the tail lights are wrong for the year as well.

Seeing as it is a S5(89-91)A T2 swap isn't too bad with factory EFI.I on't know if I would do that task tho.Ah hell who am I kidding?I would do it in a heartbeat.I can't see a 7 dead that long.

It looks like a normal S4 base model with covers over the rear lights which have holes in them. Black rub strips, phone dial wheels, non-body colored emblems . . all telltale signs of S4 cars, which were the only series with a four lug model. I'm pretty sure that all S5s were five lug.

My FC started out just like that, but without the brake light covers and wing.

If you want a turbo, save your time, effort, and money and just look for a TII.
