Im having an overheating problem on my 86 rx7 when i runs for a while itll just over heat

Heres somthing it does when i open the radiator car after i turn it off and let it cool down it spits out the fluid!!!! like its holding pressure but its not hot is there a seal bad im lost guys any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

sounds like a broken coolant seal. is white smoking coming out the exhaust ? usually what happens is you get exhaust into the coolant system and pressurizes it and spits out all the coolant...........unfortunately if that is the case you need a rebuild

If its not the coolant seal then maybe a sticking themostat. If it doesn't open all the way the car will overheat eventually. Check the coolant for presence of exhaust gases. If they are there, then you have a blow coolant seal.

yo first off where is the thermostat located at and second of all how hard is it gonna be to rebuild my engine myself

i dunno much about 'rebuilding engines' but im pretty sure its fairly hard....requiring a lot of equipment and kno how.

good luck with that.



do wut i do pray to the rotory god. or vosko. vosko has a better track record as far as helping me...so i'd go wiht him first.
