I don't know if it is true or not, but I've heard that you can use a automatic drive shaft and it'll bolt up to a NA rear end, and a turbo tranny. Anyone else heard this? Is it true? How much hp can the NA rear end handle before you start breaking things?
I heard that it's true, but I've never tried it. If I could get a hold of an automatic driveshaft I could try it out.

I saw a car with a TO4 and an NA rear end. As long as you don't do hard launches you should be ok.

I was thinking about saving some $ and doing it that way, when I actually do the swap.

If it doesn't hold up then you can change it later.
