I just bought a one yesterday, a red top, lets see how it goes. If it sucks ill just return it for a new one, 3 year warranty.

Theyre light, and they fit in the stock location with some of FMIC's(which wont fit with a stock sized battery).

not to bring an old thread back to life but what model number batteries do you guys have? all the dealers around me told me they don't have any for my fc!

I just read an article somewhere on Optima batteries, and the one place they said that they stand out is in holding a charge for a long time without being recharged. Apparently this is not the case, as several posts here dispute that claim.



The only reason I would buy one is if it was lighter (or cheaper) than a standard battery. I know it isn't cheaper, and I'm guessing it's not much lighter.



I always buy Advance Auto's house brand. I've had good luck with them, and you can't beat the price. Others are charging you for the name.

get the one for a honda civic. that is the smallest optima size they offer I think.

i never buy advance or autozone generics because i've had them leak and ruin 3 pairs of jeans so far. Have optima AGAIN now, its come back from the dead twice so far... we'll see how it holds up, its got a warranty.
