Since I can't actually work on or drive my car I'm just thinking of **** to do to it when I can. I'm thinking of moving the FMIC from right behind the bumper to right infront of the radiator like in the pic.

Although it looks nice in the front if I were to put it right in front of the radiator I'd save a lot on piping and I wouldn't have to risk damaging the IC because it goes down to just above the lowest part of the bumper.

Just collecting opinions at this point.

You think there will be any heat transfered to the IC from the radiator from that close? That's what I'm worried about.

Mine's too wide to fit under the hood latch so it'll have to go right infront of the rad.

oh that should be ok, it might heat soak a little at low speeds, but then you dont have the boost at low speeds either

how big is your IC? i have an NPR Large FMIC mounted in the spot j9 mentioned and it fits nicely with room on the sides if it wasnt for how to inlet/outlet was on the bottom being wider then everything else.

see http://www.niteshade.net/89t2/fmic for more pics of the setup. unless your IC is wider then your radiator it should fit in that area fine.

yea greddy is huge, you could notch the frame to make it fit

it's very stealthy only visible from a ways back from the car.

I don't have any more pictures but I had to cut a little on the frame to make it fit in the front. It will definitely not fit under the hood latch unless I do some major work. It's like 32" wide including the end tanks.

Moving the radiator backa tad and puting it there seems to be the best option other than where it is at right now.
