i broke the plastic lines that go from the OMP to the oil injectors and i was wondering what will happen if i dont install the OMP and run premix. also can i use rubber lines to replace the plastic lines or is there a reason the rubber lines wont hold up

S4 or S5? I believe the OMP talks to the ECU in the S5 and it will put you into limp mode or something.

Ah, heck. That's probably a load of crap. I do know that the S5 pump is controlled by the ECU, while the S4 uses a mechanical linkage tied to the throttle.

S4 no problem, just block off the OMP, if you remove it from an S5 it will go into limp mode.

Depends on the rubber, a lot will just get destroyed by the oil. I had good luck using fuel line for an RC car, I will have to say that the SS braided lines that scalliwag made a while ago are the best!!

you wont have any problems with a short piece of hose on there. the oil will eat rubber, but not today, more like 2-3 years from now. silicon works, the RC car fuel line is probably the best solution.

braided sucks, when it saws thru the intake manifold or fuel injector, you'll agree
