Ok.. I Think I Have A Solution

So - the ticking slows down when you step on the clutch.



Sounds like a chipped tooth on the input gear or the input shaft bearing.

Put the tranny in 1st & hand spin the input shaft.

Feel & listen for the tick.

jus want some more feedback..and the input shaft spins fine..no "tick" or other noises.. very little play if any.. jus took my pressure plate and clutch off today.. since it was nice out..im replacing both... since i cant pin point the exact problem.. and mise aswell replace everything..unless anyone can help me identify the problem exactly....
