mike

trailing ignition?? whats that gonna do? [/quote]

It controls the firing of the trailing spark plugs. If your trailing coil/ignitor isn't working properly the car will still run, but your tach may not work.

hmm so i might need a new trailing coil pack?? would this cause the idle to be reeeeaaally sucky at times and make the car die when idleing but before its in gear

ok this is what i got. i got 2 codes one was a long short, and the other was a short. that means that my trailing ignition coil is sending an error and my intake air thermosensor (engine) is sending an error. are these related? would the thermosensor have anything to do with my cone air filter??

Shane.Trammell 03-15-2003 12:56 AM
