oil pressure
when im idleing the oil pressure is 30 psi so its pretty good... but when on the throttle or cruising it pegs out at 110 psi... 110 psi... i mean, is that right? thats an aweful lot but then agian im used to workin on small blocks and not rotaries

Pressure spec for an 86 is 64-78psi. A rotary uses pressure that is quite a bit higher than what you're used to with the boingers. I'd guess you're gauge/sender is off or the engine has been rebuilt with either an FD or race regulator each of which will supply 110+ psi of pressure. Or...there could be an internal blockage/failure which would be bad.
Don't listen to the stock gauge for starters...the stock oil pressure gauge in FCs is notorious for failing over time.
Secondly, if your motor has been built, it is possible that you have a higher regulator. My current motor has an 85psi pellet, and the motor I'm building has a 110psi one...
