I was just concerned about the silicone used on the actual threads, that **** expands alot under heat... doesnt seem desirable around a bolts threads

One more thing: Since I'll have the pan off, should I put a baffle in there? Something to keep the oil in the pan while we're flying down the dragstrip?

if you want the rb/mazdatrix baffle plate is cool, you dont have to worry about the oil getting on the crank like a pistonian engine though
