okay im new here and i have been following this thread for a couple of days now and is it just me or does it seem like he's having one heck of a problem with this build is this normal or what?

turbo FC's are picky, i find its actually better to spend the time and verify EVERYTHING is a) functioning and b) hooked up correctly.

this takes a little extra time, but the car runs better.

i dunno why he's wasting his time at autozone though, life is too short for that!

I realize I'm late to the party but when you replaced all the vac lines did you perchance forget the reducer "pill" that goes in the line to the pressure sensor?

I did, and my idle went to hell until I replaced it.

what do you mean reducer pill?

the "reducer pill" that was mentioned is plumbed into the MAP sensor line that connects to the intake manifold. It is a restriced orifice tube who's function is to smooth the charge air pulses to the MAP sensor to give the computer more of an "average" MAP reading
