I'm rebuilding my engine because of a coolant leak (s5 turbo), but I cant seem to find where it was leaking from. All the seals were intact, and there didnt seem to be any cracks in the housings. When the car was running, exhaust was blowing into the coolant, so I assume there must be a leak in the combustion chamber somewhere. The other strange thing was there seemed to be coolant sitting in both rotors, but this mayve been me being careless when i was removing hoses (dont know why i took the spark plugs out before i pulled it).

I'm about to put it back together and just hope new gaskets solve the problem, but does anyone have an idea where the leak was?

It could still very well be from the a o-ring gasket..maybe the crack, etc. isn't noticable to the eye when open but under a engines high running pressure leaks occur. I would check for cracks, chips, unsmoothness, any wear in water jackets, housings gakset surfaces, etc.
