Did you try the unflooding procedure?

If you need new injectors, I have 4 S4 injectors that I had cleaned and calibrated, and used for awhile, for cheap. Just let me know (send a pm).

Make sure you keep it simple. It can get very complicated if you try and second guess all the little things on the car. If you are not starting, remember fuel, air, spark, and compression. You should be able to at least get it started (maybe not running well, but started). If you have spark (check it the old fashion way, ground the plug and see if it fires), do you have air (double check the MAF sensor door or plunger depending on the S4 or S5 isn't stuck), and fuel (start like Baldy said, de-flood it. disconnect the fuel pump (small two prong connector by the tank), remove the plugs, and crack it over until it is clear, than plug the pump back in and crank it over until you see white puffs of gas, than put new or cleaned plugs back in and it should start). Once it is running and warmed up, you can look for any other symptoms.

Sorry, I don't want to insult anyone by over simplifying things, but the rotary's can be temperamental with flooding.

i got her started today!!! YAY!!! but she sounds like shes running on one rotor, huge white plumes of smoke at idle and she wont rev past 4500 RPM (smoke smells like raw fuel). i checked that all the plug wires are on the right plug. il double check and make sure i have spark @ every plug tomorrow. gotta go to bed as i work at night

thanks again for all the advise!

Let us know with each plug, just sounds like you are not igniting all the gas...

lol didnt go to bed. rather spend time with my baby.

got her running. pulled the plugs cleaned and dried them checked for spark. have strong spark!

she started right up after cleaning plugs. purrs like a kitten. i figure my injectors are leaking, i put in a cut of switch to check and she kept on starting. im letting her cool down now just to make sure. wired thing i found, by pulling the fuse under the hood not only did i stop the fuel i stopped the spark, humm.

when she warms up she lopes. think i have a bad ( damn cant remember the name of the valve) the one the metal tube across the dnymic chamber connects to ( not the BAC (think thats the 1) the other valve kinda under the TB next to oil fill cap) i pulled off the one hose going to that valve and she idles great no loping. damn a rotary is loud without cats !!! lol i love it gonna take her to work tonight i think if it doesnt rain ( wipers only work on low need new motor already replaced relays)

any way thanks again for all the help!!!!!

It is common for injectors to leak. Often it means the car will smoke when it first starts (more the longer it sits), but will clear up after it burns off. That usually doesn't effect the driving, but it might mean occasionally you will flood your motor when you first try to start it!

Glad to hear it wasn't anything major! Good luck
