Well the black 7 would not start last week. Took my timing light out and went to check for spark, nothing. So I took off a wire and put an old plug in it and tried grounding it out. No spark. So I tested the coils, they are good. They are getting 12v. So I checked the continuity of the signal wire from the ecu to the coils, checked out. So then I checked the cas, its within spec. So I checked the continuity of the wires from the cas to the ecu. They are contiunous. Then I checked to see if the cas was getting its signal to the ecu and if it changed when I turned the cas. Yes, those both checked out. Then I checked to see if the ecu had power, yes. I wasn't too specific, but 1 wire had power from the Front harness to the ecu. So then I swapped the n333 ecu with an n332(87t2) ecu. Still nothing.

Then I remember I could not hear the fuel pump priming when the car is turned to on, or when I tried priming it. But earling in the week when I tried to start it fuel was spraying from the front rotor secondary fuel injector where it seats at the fuel rail. Aftering inspection the fuel rail for debris or scratches and putting on another new o-ring, it still leaked. Tried and tried, no go. Then one day I swapped injectors from side to side and it just stopped. . Anyhow, now I checked the injectors for power, NOTHING. My fsm is for a damn 87 n/a( which has the injector resistor pack because of its low imp injectors) and by the time I got on the net to find the high impedance injector wiring setup it was too late and Im just STUMPED.

well, lets see.

if you have signal comingto the coils

and you have power coming to the coils

and the coils are good

but when you have spark plugs in the wires, and the wires are good, and you crank the car with the plugs grounded to the chassis... theres no spark

i would guess your ground is no good

ground the plug to the negative battery terminal and see what happens.

I don't have any signal coming to the coils

I will gound a plug to the block today and find out why my injectors have no power.

I had the problem with no spark. Grounded the thing all over. talkin like 5 extra grounds and what not. Still nothing. So I get the car started on the trailing coil (leading was only one out) and low and behold after 15 mins of just running it the leading coil started firing again. BTW I had everything like 12V at the coil signals from all the right wires, no broken wires. I don't really know what happened, I can only assume it was the grounds.

Connectors x15/16 were not plugged in. It runs now, just have to set the timing and tps.
