ok so i looked around on the forums and could not find a heater problem like this described, if there is one, lord forgive me. so on my buddy's 87 TII the heater does absolutely nothing neither does the ac it refuses to blow any air whatsoever. I am aware that this could be fuses or the logicon itself but i just want to know if there are any other possible culprits.

Can you move the rods manually to set it to heat and drive to see if the outside hair pushes air thru the heater core. You will also need t move the rod for the outside hair. Check the connects on the phone unit there tons there.

Yeah, the blower motor was our suspected culprit as well. how hard is it to fix this? or would it be a definite job for a specialist

Its not that difficult the motor is up above the passengers feet. If you've got no air I'd say you have a blower issue or a logicon issue. Look at the blower first, check and see if its getting voltage.

Ok, i have a problem sort of like this one.. My heater only works some times, and the a/c wont turn on through the logicon.(i can jump the a/c and it works fine, i have it on a switch now) If i turn the heat off, chances are its not going to turn back on. i replaced the logicon once already and it did not do anything. I changed the thermostat, and got all of my antifreeze flushed out in hopes that there might have been some sediment laying in the heater core.. still no reliable heater.. any suggestions?

the blower motor is fine, still blowin hard
