My car has the Tb mod done and i just removed the dashpot. Upon restarting my car after cold starts it dies a lot easier before it gets warmed up and will idle normally. I'm assuming this is because of the lack of dashpot which means when i let off the throttle my engine drops revs faster instead of hesitating for a second like it used to and therefore making it more likely to stall the engine. Is this correct or did i get a vacuum hose wrong or forget to plug something in? Anyone else have any experience with these two "mods"?

The engine will not run normally, and will likely die when cold unless you give it a bit of throttle. It's normal. Any engine that has been modified for performance will run poorly or die when cold and when idling. You cannot get a free meal ticket, even with engines.

The problems should go away after a few minutes, or a few blocks of slow light driving.
