I just bought my first rotary on tues the 9th and i am so lost when it comes to this car, lol! I picked up an 86 N/A 5spd, I think it's a GLX? Dunno for sure. it's got a few little things that are minor annoyances, and from what i've gathered they are all pretty common things. Like the horn, buzzer, clock, some idiot lights, dome lights, door locks but some other things, not so much. Like the shifter is loose, possibly the bushings, and my steering is rediculously hard, like i dont have ps, but i have no idea how to check if i have ps or manual, and my clutch is hard to push. Anywho here she is.

i need to get more pics when i clean her up.

welcome to nopistons! a mod may move this to the 2nd gen forum in the morning to try to get more answers. the power steering is an easy one though, check and see if there's a belt driven pump on the front of your engine that has two lines going to the steering rack. if there is, yes you have power steering but something's leaking or not building pressure. if there's no pump, someone's removed it.

the lines should go up to a pump that's attached to the engine. the pump will have a small tank with a cap on it and that's where you fill it. being that there's fluid everywhere you may want to look into some new lines and fittings, and at least clean off the pump so you can see where the fill line is lol
