I am new to the world of rotary powered cars and have decided to keep my 88 RX7 SE and work on it. I want to get everything functional first. I am having problems with my gauges. My spedometer & oil preassure gauge never work. My Tachometer Sometimes works fine, sometimes it jumps around then dies.

My gas gauge sometimes reads the gas and sometimes it dosent. WTF ! ! !.

My car is an Automatic(I Know Buket *** Tranny) My first mod as to performance is to change to manual tranny. I also want to go N/A I heard that rotariy engines can handel alot bigger shot on N2O than any other car with stock internals(Of course not V8's) what would be a good shot for a 13B.

Aperance wise does any one know how I can fix the rust on my sun roof? My front fenders and front bumper are kind of banged up would you guys just reccomend to get a body kit or get a bumper from a JY and put It on. Im going to find out if the fenders are repairable if not I will get them at A JY.

Why does my power steering just die sometimes. Sometimes on the highway it gets tight I know on the high way it is suposed to but it is it suposed to when you are driving slow or in a parking lot??? I dont know

On the oil pressure gauge it's probably the sending unit, on the speedo it's probably the cable, either broken or disconnected. the tach is more than likely the ground. Either the one that connects to the starter of the little black pod near the starter that should be grounded.

the power steering is controlled by a "computer" right next to the front left speaker, they get intermittant after a awhile. if you unplug it it will be firm all of the time.

I wouldn't give that motor more than a 50hp shot without making sure you fuel system is in proper working order. But I hear of people running a 75hp shot on stock cars so anything is possible I guess. I'll be running a 50hp shot of direct port goodness next week. After I can get the clutch to bleed properly.

I have done a lot research on NOS and have found that the best system for a n/a is made by "NOS". The system comes standard with a 75 shot. But my installer recommends only using it when I have to. They are making me sign a waiver at the time of install. Just the chance you take.

a 50 shot would be good but if your goin full out racin on this car, 75 shot wouldnt be that bad

you can even add some bigger injectors

and for the sunroof, almost every 2nd gen has the rust for some reason, you could get that fixed or what my friend did is get it all out an replace with fiberglass, worked well. or even go with the moonroof but that costs an arm and a leg
