ACV works, cats are still good, and O2 sensor are good plus new plugs = good chance of passing.

unless of course you have worn out oil control rings and bum side seals. Then you have a hard time of passing.

yep it was clean from the moment we fired it up. and the plugs were new to me, they came out of pauls fd. but when you're trying to start and unknown engine broken in is better than new

Is the hood steel or aluminum? The paint is not doing justice to such a low mileage car.

moar! so the toe plates and camber gauge are still here from setting up the race car so i've spent a couple of hours (alignment rack is WAY WAY faster) playing with it.

i set the front toe to about zero (its maybe 1/32 in)

then i took the front struts out rotated the strut top, and pushed it as negative as i could putting it together, this gave me maybe 1/4 degree negative camber, which is within the flatness of the driveway.

rear is toed in with about 1 1/4 negative camber, so thats the next step, zero that toe. i may put a camber link in it

while it was up in the air i put a spare beater set of wheels with ROUND tires and an efini strut tower bar

car is now really nice to drive, smooth quiet. turn in is really fast, but compared to the E30 the FC has like 100lbs less dead weight (BMW calls it an engine) in the front, and a way faster steering ratio.
