Hey guys,

Just wondering how each of you treat a new rebuild engine for the run in time. For example for the firt 1000kms do you not rev it over a certain RPM. Do you slowly put more and more revs into it over time. If so how many and at what stages. How often should you change the oil on a new motor? When should you start to drive it under boost? etc etc.

Just wanted to know what the gerneral thoughts were on this subject.

Thanks,

Matt

Thanks Mate. I have about 3000KMS on my engine at the moment so it's just about run in. Might do another oil change on the weekend just to be on the safe side.
