I Got My Car Running Today...
#1
So, i prime my fuel system, dump in some coolant, and connect it to my jeep for a jump...after a few tries it gets going, little rough, needs some love still but it ran, starting it without dashpot and all that **** made it interesting, i had to give it a little gas to get it to start up, im still trouble shooting some vac leaks and other gremlins, but its alive....
The nipple that used to supply coolant for the tb, well its broken at the base or soemthing, because even with a bolt in it, its still dripping all over my manifold, so thats troubeshoot 1.
The larger nipple under the UIM, looks like one for coolant, is that for brake booster?? I had it blocked off since my car was just hanging out on jacks....
Took some time to get the uim to lay nicely on top of everything, injector wires and such, but it came down nicely eventually when i put some bolts in tightened it down....my IC isnt lining up anymore either, i dont know what im not seeing but its being a bitch....
Not the simple turn the key and its back as i remember it, a little more effort, im tearing it down again tonight to re-check everything i did, make sure there isnt anything i missed....ah..long day..
