started on the roll cage lastnite,. should have the chassis done by the end of the weekend

so 4 of the 10 points are done, also have the suport for the petty bar installed

 

2 more, ill have the A piller bars done tomorrow and the rear fenders mounted aswell

 

how are you deciding what your connection points are for the cage? almost seems random at a glance lol

 

good question. it may seem random at the moment but it is truely not. the main hoop is on the frame rails aswell as the rear suports. the cross bar is mid point of the seat harness for belt locations. the random bar that is going from the lower rear suport to the cross bar is the petty bar suport bar and is right at driver shoulder. so its really not that random its extreamy well thought out and once its finished you will get the point.

 

by tomorrow the rear fenders will be mounted the seat will be mounted and the petty bar will go in. im out of DOM to finish the door bars.

 

fire wall will be patched aswell

 

mounted the fenders and started to work the front bumper-splitter and mounts as i wait for the rest of the DOM to show up.
