I finally have taken some pictures of the Turbo II I have just purchased. I ended up getting it for $1,500. It had a bunch of extra parts in the hatch, they gave me all of those too. Two almost new looking Racing Beat mufflers, an ECU, an S5 A/C vent, FTP lenses, and a car cover.

The car runs, but has some issues. It smokes like crazy for the first couple of minutes after it's been sitting for a few hours. I suspect it's from oil pooling in the turbo while it's sitting. It bucks and hesitiates like crazy. It constanly beeps. The speedo cable and and oil sending unit need replacement, as do the tires and brakes.

The good news is the interior is in very good condition. BTW - What's up with the **** carpeting in the S4's? The body is very straight, except for two minor problems. decent sized dent in the drivers door and the sunroof is rusted through. I have two spare sunroofs, so that's not a problem. The best news was from the dealer when I had the compression test done. 8.0 and 8.5, at least the motor is in good condition.

I already can't wait to start ripping it apart and modding the hell out of it. I had planned to make my GTu a track car, but I'm going to use it for daily driving and mod the T2 for track and "spirited" driving.

Here's some pictures...

Door Panel, check out the nice Olmypus carema lense cap.

Racing Beats Mufflers

Random Parts

A bunch of work to do, but it should be fun. I think I am going to put the Racing Beat mufflers on the GTU. I purchased an APEXi GT exhaust the I was going to put on the GTu, now I think I'm going to use it on the T2.

Any suggestions are welcome, especially regarding my option at replacing or upgrading the turbo.

I can't wait to get it running right.
