Nemesis AKA Brian M. Brown AKA Brian@nopistons.com

Purchased an intercooler from him (old greddy/trust kit - Labeled as Re-amemiya)

Paid January 29th

received Feb 10th

Missing: 3 pipes.

Now it's March

After emailing brian on the 11th, I recieved a reply on the 12th saying he would take a look, on the 15th i recieved an email saying he found "the main" pipe i needed and it would be shipped out ASAP. I havn't heard anything since, no replies to emails, no replies to Instant messages. It's going to cost me an arm and a leg to get this stuff fabricated. Not to mention it's been 2 months without an intercooler that I friggin paid for. If anyone knows him or can contact him please tell him to clear up his name and get his *** in gear!!!

You can see what was in the kit vs what i got here:

(the s5 AFM was included but the rest of the circled items are missing)

This is off topic but what you have is a HKS kit. RE Amemiya relables the Greddy/Trust one, not the HKS one.

my 2 cents,

I haven't had any problems with Brian, He's bought stuff from us for a long time and seems like a nice guy. All of the sales crew loves him.

The piping kit is HKS, this is true... However the actual intercooler is a trust/greddy with a nice big re-amemiya plate on the top.

I agree with The Queen, I've played SOCOM online with Brian many times, he's a stand up guy and if he says he had an emergency, I believe him. This stuff happends, I'm sure he'll resolve it.

Maybe you guys should contact him and tell him to clear up his name?

Playing video games with someone online does not put you in a situation that tests the guys honesty or reliability. Only people who have experiences involving _monetary transactions_ with the person in question should be vouching for him. Even the most shady people play online games and will be fun to do so with.

I'm on irc in the same channel as f1bluerx7 and it sounds like a pretty retarded situation and nemesis is not handling it well. I know neither of these guys personally, I've talked to nemesis in person on AIM and he seemed OK but have done no transactions with the guy so I have no idea.

If you have not sold things to or bought things from a person of significant value (multiple times preferably in both directions) you have no foundation to your statement of him being a 'stand up guy', we have to be careful online it's very easy to get peoples trust and faith falsely.

It's funny, once the tables are turned it doesn't feel so great, huh? There are a couple of pieces missing from this story. Remember when you owed me $600 for three months and wouldn't return my emails? Then every once in a while you would write a one line email with a lame excuse. Is it coming back to you now? Sucks, huh?

Your items were shipped out, as descibed. I forgot to send one of the pipes. I'm sorry. You've had the kit for over a month it's only been about a week since you told me the pipe was missing. Calm the **** down. The pipe is on the way to you.

BTW - the 30 IM messages a day and ugly harassing emails do not make me want to expedite the shipping of this item. You really need to go see a counselor and get to the root of your emotional issues. Please do not ever respond to another of my for sale items again.

My ebay feedback is impecable, and I have sold items to many board members on this forum and the other forums without issue. If anyone requires references in the future, please let me know.

I will not reply to this thread again.

Glad to see it's getting taken care of.

Doing business online can be quite stressful sometimes, so I hope we can keep this section useful. Meaning; If you vouch for a vendor/forum member, please base it on past experiences involving significant monetary transactions. Same goes if you badtalk a vendor.

Members will look in here before buying something, and if a thread is full of people being supportive of a vendor when they have never purchased a thing for their car from them, it can be misleading and defeat the apparent purpose of this place. That is the point I was trying to make earlier.

I have no past bad experiences with nemesis and hope this gets settled, in my limited experience he's fine, never purchased anything from him in the past though.
