If the hydraulics were failing, it would be harder to shift, but wouldn't slip at all.

Did you put the clutch in the right way? It should have said somewhere on it "flywheel side" or something like that.

Did you get the flywheel resurfaced?

Yes it had this side to trans and put on that way. as far as a resurfaced no i did not i used a air tool with a scuff wheel and knocked the shine off as ive always done. its master and slave are less then 3 months old. this is the first time ive ever had this problem before

So you replaced the entire clutch assy (pressure plate, disk and throwout bearing) and now the clutch will not engage? Is that correct? Put the car in first or reverse start it, does it move?

i took it back down yesterday and it was a defective pressure plate the clutch company is shipping me out another one monday morn. but to answer your ? you could put it in any gear and it was like being in nutral no movement at all. guess from now on i will look at the pressure plate and make sure the fingers are flat and not in or out

Pressure plate? Never seen one do that unless spring failed. Sure you know this but thought I would mention when you tighten the new one up pull it up slowly, using all the mounting bolts. There is a lot of tension put on it and you want to do it evenly.
