My 90 vert has a slight malfunction. The engine light comes on when the car is at idle but if you put a little pressure on the gas pedal it goes out . Also sometimes while you are driving it and its in overdrive it will surge , but not always. It will however surge when you first crank it in the mornings till it warms up. I have just replaced alot of stuff on the car and I am wondering if it is the tps needing adjusting. It has been replaced also. Thank you Paul

 

yeah, if it hasnt been you should adjust it. its very easy you need to wire up the test lights or a voltmeter

had same problem with mine, simply tightened the spark plug a little tighter, light never came back on

 

I like to adjust the TPS by feel and dont use the light method.
