well i pulled out onto the road, and this car was on my butt so i floored it in 2nd. took it to about 5 then shifted into 3rd. when i pushed the clutch in it revved to hell, and i thought i missed a shift or something, so i put it in nuetral and it kept revving. turns out the pedal got stuck down so i shut it off after a cppl seconds in nuetral, and coasted to the side of the road. got the pedal unstuck, then started it up and went home. it started and ran perfectly for 20 minutes all the way home. not hot, normal oil pressure, everything. well after sitting for 30-45 min after i got home, i went out to start it and it was very very hard to start, and made a different noise like the starter was struggling. then when it started it was running VERY badly, low low RPMs, wuldnt rev up for nething. the whole car was shaking pretty bad, the shifter was bouncing around alot from the tranny moving. if i let off the gas it wuld die. so whats wrong. to me, it seems like it is running off one rotor, but i havent checked it yet, or know how to. did i blow the motor? or is something just whacko.

You either lost a vac line or its a throttle issue. Check the usual vac lines and if they are all intact check behind the Alt to make sure the plug wire didnt jar down and get stuck on the throttle linkage

ya , u might want to check ur vac lines . . . open up the hood , while the car is on , listen fer a " HISSING " sound , like SSSSSSSSS . . . . .like air escaping from a line . . .i had that problem with my car, i had vac leaks like a mother. . . it can either be a line , or it can be on like the intake manifold . . .and feel around the intake and the rear part of the engine bay , mostly every where their might be a vac hose , u want to feel for any aire that might be escaping . . . as far as the pedal staying stuck to the floor , im not sure , maybe your throttle cable got stuck or the pedal just got stuck . . . and as far as the car being shakey , if its not a vac line , check your fuel system , fuel pressure , fuel filter , fuel pump . . . ur ignition system too , check that ur coils/ignitors are all fireing . . . u might want to check ur compression first . . . thats a really good and easy way to tell if its the motor and not anything else . . . if its an apex seal , youll know by the compression test , and listen for like ratteling sounds . . . when apex seals break the motor starts to rattle alot cuz the seal is rolling aroung inside . . . hope that was of some help . .

that wuld give me a good start, but now it is at the shop, so we will see what they come up with. the car was very hard to start, and today it wasnt wanting to start at all, but i think i just flooded it really bad today. when the engine revved to like 5 billion culd that make the ignition or ne of that die?
