NA intake question..

Since the plastic stock tube seems turbulent, i was wondering if anyone has replaced it with aluminum or something to smooth out the air flow. Would this mess up the MAF reading?

you can change it probably get a hp or two. honda style

i hear ya I more want to change it because it looks like ****... especially since I got engine degreaser on it and its all discolored

awr racing makes a kit to do that, its like $160 when you can go to pep boyz and get the pipe for $35....

Try putting some silicone or any WD-40 type thing on the tube to bring the color back.
