do the N/A rx-7's have any potential. I wanna use the car mostly for drift but i wanna have a little speed. Should I just start savin up for a conversion?
For the 86, and assuming it’s either a Sport or a GXL, you may want to consider a complete tune up, changing all the fluids (that’s coolant, engine oil, transmission oil, diff oil, and brake fluid), fuel filter, air filter, TPS/AFR adjustment, brake pads, and tires (if needed). After it's road worthy, maybe a Racing Beat header, a high flow cat or pre silencer, a lightweight flywheel, and a pair of RB cans. When the motor finally dies, you’ll have a chance to decide just how much latent potential you really want to tap in to.

I want something that works and makes power. I could care less about noise. It is gonna make noise no matter what. Racing Beat headers can not be that bad? Just for a conventional street driven car. Or are they that horrible compared to the SDJ header?
