well after 2 years, alot of blood sweat and tears the s5 gxl re turbo is back on the road. went to the dyno last week to do some motor break in but had an electrical gremlin wich caused the car not to fire. so all the week i have been workin out the buggs and it now runs. just doin some off boost tuning at the moment. getting the car to cruze well and fuel transitions and so on. so far the rev limit is st to 5k and am not taking the engine past 48% load but even at that the car seams very torquey. so for thoughs of you who dont know what i am talkin about with my set up ill give you the basic run down;



89 gxl

13brett---------big extended port, small exhaust port

gt45 turbo

header manifold

ported intake manifold

wolf3d ver 4.0---------4.72 firmwire

jic flt-a2 suspention

t2 tranny and drive line with a 4.30 diff

roll cage now in

body is un modded minus the factory frount aero lip

monster vibrant 33x12x3.5 ic

3.5" exhaust from turbo to tail pipe with borla xr-1 as a mid muffler and magnaflow can as final muffler



well i have alot of other **** done to it as well but you get the general idea. once i get some more miles on it ill set it on the rollers and see what this studded monster will lay down.

and where would you be from and what have you heard. so far the car has almost 300 miles on it now on freash motor. i have not hit the dyno due to the oil temps . i am workin on some ducting to aid in cooling.
