I finally got my car, its great. But it has some problems

It's an 89 T-Eleven

It has a coolant leak somewhere

https://www.nopistons.com/forums/ind...howtopic=30836

And i made a therad about it there, so help would be great.

Also it seems to hesistate at around 2000 rpms sometimes, what would be causing that and how do i fix that?

The passenger side seatbelt only goes about 4 inches up before it stops and gets stuck.

The clutch sometimes drops to the floor when i'm going in reverse and my car stalls. I have to pull the clutch up and pump it a few times before it starts working agian.

Thanks.

Also another thing regarding the clutch and shifting.

On my supra i would shift gears and if i let off the clutch fast enough it would automatically drop revs to the perfect spot with no jerks. On m rx-7 i have to wait about a full second before i let off the clutch. If i try to slip it then it still jerks a bit but if i wait the perfect amount of time then i can almost sidestep it and it will not jerk whatsoever. Also i have an ACT S/S clutch but at the same time it seems like an odd behavior. How then do i drag the car if i have to wait a second between shifts otherwise it jerks really bad?

clutch sounds like a hydrolic, replace the slave/master.

seat belts are under Mazda lifetime recall, your local dealer should

fix them for free.

also sounds like you're engine doesnt decelerate fast enough when you let off the gas? perhaps the throttle is sticking or hanging up on the dashpot.

yeah what peng said, I remember Jim once having the bolt loosen

up on the throttle linkage and it was getting hung up.
