Ok so this is completely my fault so it isnt really bothering me which is why i didnt post this earlier.

But anyway as some of you may have read my clutch was shot and i was about to put a new one in.

That didn't happen at quite the right time as i was ******* around with the car, it was on its last legs i was just TRYING to make it to the shop in time before it stopped moving at all, all of a sudden there was a "snap....bang....KABOOM"

let's give a quick rundown of what those three sounds meant to my car:

Grenaded Clutch

Grenaded PP

Grenaded Bellhousing

Grenaded Trans

Grenaded Flywheel.

Folks thats my MIA list. Apparently too much heat and stress worked its way onto the p/p, clutch, and flywheel. We're not sure which caused which but here's our best idea. Clutch blew apart first throwing **** everywhere, somehow causing the p/p to then blow up, leaving almost no fingers left attached to the p/p, at which time chunks took out the flywheel while at the same time chunks took out the bellhousing, split the shiftfork, and managed to crack the trans dumping fluid instantly and getting parts into the trans to successfully **** up the trans.

My poor little car, luckily i still have my legs tho.

Sooooooo the mooney for my haltech and extra money i had saved have now bought me:

Used Stock t2 flywheel, resurfaced at my shop

Used T2 trans with bellhousing

Cryo Process for the trans

New XTD 6-Puck Sprung Clutch, XTD 19% more pressure pressure plate, koyo throwout and pilot bearings

And im probably gonna scoop up a mazdaracing.com shortshifter, a scatter shield, a rear diff seal, and most likely my solid motor mounts and all new bushings set.

woo for my 7.

? what with drivetrains shattering lately?Directfreaks Cosmo powered firstgen did this not even a week ago.The shatter shield he had on it saved his legs and the car. Can't say much about the flywheel, clutch and bellhousing tho. Theres a thread on his with a vid in the first gen section.
