cut & pasted from the true dual exhaust stystem for fc. (RB)

Racing Beat offers a true dual exhaust for all models of 1986-92 non-turbo RX-7s. This complete bolt-on system utilizes all of the stock hangers and hanger positions. Although this system can be used on "street" applications, maximum performance benefits will be realized from cars with intake, ECU or porting upgrades

now if You guys wanna argue with racing beat you can call JM and tell him what youve Researched lmao

read it in Their own words.

*notcie where is says for MAXIMUM BENIEFITS with Porting and ECU upgrades!," how much cleared do you need it j9! lmao

have a nice day.

class is dismissed.

You're reading it wrong. This: "maximum performance benefits will be realized from cars with intake, ECU or porting upgrades" means that the full benefits of this exhaust will be realized with utilizing the additional upgrades.

Nowhere in the racing beat description does it compare it to a different exhaust format.

Hate to tell you Villian, but you're wrong. For maximum power on a NA bridgeport or a Periport. you want a collected exhaust. A properly setup collected exhuast uses the exhaust pulses to suck the exhaust and scavange out the next pulse. I think in a 2" primary exhaust you want them to collect after 82" or something. On racingbeats website they state that the true dual is only for street port or stock port systems. Pick up Mazda's factory tuning manual from the FB periport days and you'll see they even used a collected exhaust. You're plenty wrong if you don't think a FB cannot run a dual exhaust. You really need to read up on exhaust velocity, scavaging, and flow charictoristics before you go and yell at people.

First of all i cut & pasted the description from RB's website of the dual exhaust. you say "On racingbeats website they state that the true dual is only for street port or stock port systems" WHERE exactly does it say that?

Secondly i'm not "yelling at anbody" lmao

I am going on two things: 1> what racing beat has on their website and i have been told by people there

and 2. PERSONAL experience with both street and dual headers .

3. the collected vs. dual debate started because the guy WHO STARted this thread talked about utilitzing the RB STREET header. now REGARDLESS of WHere you wanna collect or run true dual you would NOT use that header because it collects before optimal for a bp (definetly before the 84" or so you quoted as a guidline!)

so my main point for him was simply to use the true dual header. now whether he wants to collect or not is up to him as per his application and wants/needs etc....Where to collect the exhaust if at all can only be answered by him (the driver of said vehicle) however regardless he NEEDS the dual header now THAT was my point and THAT you cannot argue.

ALso when referring to data most people in most professions argue the most current information avaialble not 20 year old info. thats like saying 12a were better than 13b's lmao (oh and i guess 1st gens were the PINNACLE of rotary r&d, lmao)

you guys act like r&d stopped when 1st gens were running funny if i remember coorectly the cars increased in power so obvously mazda was still Racing and doing more R&D

so,

if you wanna refer to 20 year old info be my guest, i personally will continue to refer to the most current info available

FOR THE APPLICATION (a bp 2nd gen)

so i guess your saying RB made a "downgraded" exhaust system! nice!

yeah i guess all you guys know more about exhaust flow than the guys at racing beat

Step away from the crack rock. I'm just saying that the description you posted from racing beat in no way relates it to any other exhaust. It merely states that you'll receive the greatest benefit of that particular exhaust by upgrading the other mentioned items.

Geez, way to turn a thread to ****.

watchu talkin bout willis?

single system???>?>? for fc?>??>?>?

oh j9 you said "theres plenty of room in a 1st gen for a dual, ive seen a few of em."

not with a stock gas tank you didnt.! show me a stock gas tank 1st gens with duals.

you cant . I JUST went out and looked at my first gen with a stock gas tank and guess what....

the gas tank goes about two feet in from the rear bumper,(sided to side) and from the driver side all the way to the heat shielf for the passenger side exhaust exit.,

so, IF you have seen a dual side exhaust for a 1st gen it mustve been one with an upgraded tank.-(different size/placement)

nope, theres room for 2 turbo mufflers in the stock spot. put em vertical like, and the tips can even look stock.

keep in mind the STOCK system for the FC is a single, it just Y's out to 2 mufflers
