sup people , i have encountered a problem wit my 91 n/a.. maybe someone can help me out here, around 20 or 40 mph i get this vibration like i feel it in the drivetrain or in a wheels if ur in neutral u can feel it but its way worse if u accelerate in gear.. i was thinking maybe a tranny or diff mount , but yet i dont hear a clunk when shifting.. it just vibrates in 40 in 4th and 20 in 2nd.. its like when u leave it in a higher gear at a lower speed, it vibrates! can anybody help me out?

Holy ****! My N/A is doing that right now! Its the Universial Joint. You have to buy a complete driveshaft(from what I hear) cause the U Joint doesn't seperate from the propeller shaft. Mines been doin' it for about 6 daze now...

sonofabish!!! i thought of everything except that damn driveshaft and there non seperating u joints!!!! ahhhhhhhhh i have to go look for one! crap.. i was about to do a turboII engine tranny swap!! now this is gonna push me back? does anybody know what they go for around there?

thanx bro damn 239.. they have a used one of an 86 on ebay.. its 5 spd and the big is at $9.99 plus $18.99 shipping and handling.. not bad if it cures the problem

i think its either the diff mounts or the tranny mounts

i checked the driveshaft for play while in gear and it doesnt move for ****... anybody?

someone remind me why you cant change the u-joints on a

stock driveshaft again?

Dunno. Ive tried to buy just the u-joints, but no one has a part number. The guy from mazda told me that you can't change 'em and that you had to buy a new driveshaft.

I just found out my its my diff going... thanx guyz.. i have 2 spare ones.. looks like a saturday project...

if its because they have plastic pins thats bullshit, all you have to do is

heat the u-joint with a torch and the plastic melts out of them and the

ujoints fall right out.



then its only a matter of finding u-joints to bolt back in.



not like they make the driveshaft and ujoint as a one piece thing
