Yea, I hate having my car in a shop. Normally I do all the work, but if I know that it is gonna be a long time before I get it done, or the weather isnt good, I'll let it go to the shop...I love my car, but I'm lazy too, lol...The motor isn't going in until I get my lightweight flywheel put on, and I need to order some more oil lines, other then that..its ready...

Jspec, HA, if only Jspecs looked this good! It's a large streetported motor from Atkins Racing. The same motor is being used in a datsun that is pushing 45psi, lol...I'm not going that crazy, but hey..its good to know.

It has a very large exhaust port, and the largest intake port you can go w/ before bridging. Oil passages mods, everything has been polished and honed, eccentric shaft mod, custom 2mm seals, etc...it was 3200 shipped.

I'll get pics of the ports when I get it out of the crate. I've already got this chick w/ a '94 supra w/ exhaust who wants to run me, lol...it'll be the first race the SE-X gets...

You're car is like the phoenix, man. Burned to **** with the J-spec engine, brought back to life with a fire-breathing street-ported monster.

Keep us posted!

Nice gaskets, and now we catch you with those sandals again, you had better order some of those Simpson racing shoes from Summit and not drive your new turbo beast with those sandals on. ****, around here you would get beat up for wearing those sandals.

I can't wait to get it in the car, so I'll keep ya posted! BTW, I have the next 3 days off of work...it has been over a year since I've had a full weekend off, how crazy is that?

Well, I was SUPPOSED to go to Va Tech campus(very large school, lots of buddies down there and about 6 rotary owners too )

But I guess that plan is quickly going to hell, so I might drive up to MD and chill on my buddy's new 50ft yacht...his dad is rich, so don't go flaming, lol. Um, other then that...I'm not sure yet. I want to catch up on sleep. I haven't been going to bed til like 12am and I've been getting up at 5:30am to go to school...I have to commute to college. I'm worn out! I also plan to pick up an engine stand while I'm off...I'm just relaxin I guess...

I was going to comment on "going to the market", thought you might be a redneck for second there, then I see your from LA. I love all those cop chases filmed there, you ever actually see any of those? ala' OJ Simpson?
