Fuel Problems
#1
87 gxl n/a Starting to have starting problems, Turns over but dont want
to start, seamed to me like it wasn't getting any fuel. pulled fuel line
off after fuel filter (engine side), gots lots of fuel to this point, pulled out
1 of the spark plugs, dry as a bone. tapped on and kinda twisted around
injectors. car started, ran fine, went to town made a few stops, started
fine every time, came home, about 3 hours later went back into town,
car started fine, went to store came back out, same problem.
I am not very familiar with fuel injection, (not like the good ole carb)
So any suggestions or tips, would be greatly appreciated.
thank you,

Maybe you misunderstood, I said not getting fuel.
Believe me I know, what it's like when it's, flooded, my wife has done
it more than once. (hell ,got the flooded trick down so good by now
dont even have to say a word just go out pop hood and my hand goes
right to inj fuse by its self). No its not flooded, this I can tell you for sure.

it could be a few things.
1. the wiring, if you moved the injector and it made a difference.....
i would look at the injector connectors and make sure the pins are tight on the injector.
2. something is causing the ecu not to think its cold, ie run rich. it could be the coolant temp sensor at the back of the water pump.
3. how are the plugs? air filter? timing? how does it idle hot? does it flood a lot?

plugs are brand new, doesnt want to idle when hot,
my wife has flooded it many times.
cold has nothing to do with it, happens even when its warm
