Just got an msd 6al-2 ignition need help installing it.

do i use the points or the magnetic pick up.

It seems the MSD box *may* be sapping the tach signal to the ECU. Maybe someones got some more feedback on this.



Look into incorporating a Tach Adapter. I think part number MSD8910

I've installed mines just like it says and still no 2 step or over rev protection. plus status light sill on msd say that if status light on signal under 9v under 3k. more info needed.
