i was on my way to work a couple of weeks ago and my motor suddenly starts to overheat, I could not pull over right away because i was behind some other cars. I know that overheating a rx7 is bad but it happend. anyway to make a long story short it overheated and then when i was about to pull over it just stopped, and is still stuck. what could have been the cause? all fluids were topped off exept for the oil wich was only down half a quart. I welcome any help that anyone could give me.

Thanks

A stuck thermostat, clogged radiator, or something blocking the radiator, or even the fan clutch gone bad.

Worse case, o-rings bad and compression pushing out to the coolant system.

I just over heated my engine when a hose burst, i dont' know the fate of my engine either.
